What is mastering the act of Happiness? What makes you happy? Why is happiness Key? or would I say, What is happiness to you?

A lot of us really don’t understand what being happy truly means. But, I would say happiness is self Acceptance. As we begin to grow and get older, we start to understand a fulfilling life is one in which we are unregretfully happy.

Happiness seems to be one of the ultimate but yet most tricky and subtle goals. Yeah, one minute you think or feel you are happy, but the other minute, you feel blank. Mastering the act of happiness is not something you can do when you have a lot been holed up in your chest. One important tactic we most know in finding happiness, is the act of letting go.

Understand when mastering the act of forgiveness, we all want to understand how to be happy with our family, our work, our health, our finances, our relationship and most importantly, our future. We don’t just want to create a one minute or seconds happiness, but we want that which to go a very long way.

We are not going to dispute the fact that finding and maintaining happiness can be evasive or hard for some people, although the potential for happiness is all around us. The bible also made us understand in the book of

Psalm 119: 1-3 Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths.”

Achieving happiness isn’t just attainable, but just quite simple. We think generally of happiness as either a matter of chance or a matter of circumstance. Not that happy people are happy by choice, not by circumstance. Happiness is an habit just like trying to keep your room clean all the time, or brushing your teeth every morning.

So, how do we master the act of Happiness

1. Affirmation

All things, no matter how good or bad it can be, come into our lives for a reason which is left to us to choose how to respond to each and every situation that pops in. Instead to tossing this situations away, try to embrace them and find solutions that bring out succession the other side. When start to embrace and accept, you find your been able to flow with what you’ve been given and you become much happier.

2. Create The Positivity Around You

Being optimistic creates a room for happiness. We should know that difficult situations or painful ones have a silver lining attached to them, yeah, that’s right. When we fail to recognize positive aspects and only focus on the negatives outcome, it creates an aura of sadness and doubts enters. Whenever you are dealing with pains or difficulties, try to create a ray of positivity in it, and never give up.

3. Do What Makes You Happy

There are times we need to go out of our comfort zone and do what will bring happiness and peace to us. We don’t have to do what others expect of us, as long as it doesn’t give us the happiness we need. Just do what makes you happy. Creates your own happiness. Don’t let others try to steal your happiness. Create your own positive vibes, put up a smile yourself.

Go out there and create exciting experience. Trust me, having a stagnant lifestyle can be very very boring. Go out there and explore new things, discover new passions that could be inspiring not just to yourself but also to people around you.

So sit down with your phone or a pen and paper and jot down some of the things that you have always wanted to do. Once you have a full list, make it your goal to tackle these items one after the other.

4. Express Gratitude

Learning how to express your gratitude is a blessing. Through the means of appreciation, we learn that there is always something very beautiful going on in our lives. Making use of the 5 magic words won’t hurt. (Please, Excuse me, Sorry, Thank you and Pardon Me) These show how polite and humble you can be. Gratitude opens doors for more surprises, so learn to master the art of gratitude.

5. Set Goals and Achieve Them

It’s one thing to have a dream, and it’s another thing to chase after your dream. Without goals, life can look very blank and you may just end up loosing focus on things that truly matters. Goals give you the motivation to live through each day doing what make you happy. Once you set a goal, aim to always achieve them no matter the odds. It also help you build up confidence.

Mastering the act of Happiness may seem so hard to find, but the truth is that happiness is all around. You just need to know where to actually look for it, things you need to do or change, and also learning how to appreciate happiness in life. Stop tolerating stuffs you don’t appreciate. Your process to be happy is multi-fold. So find the things to be grateful for in situations you find yourself. Shift toward positive people, use your happiness as a trigger for feeling good. Trust me, you will notice the change.
