Searching For Peace In A Critical Time

Regain Peace In Trials And Tribulation

Have you ever been in a turbulent situation; So uncomfortable with the state you find yourself, and with peace of mind being the answer for the moment?

Often times, we seek for right answers with a wrong approach.

However, the only way to find peace in a desperate situation is knowing, the Author of peace. It is amazing to me that God has given us his peace freely but we don’t know the right way to connect our troubled souls to tap into it.

As much as I know, God has shown his love and tender mercies to anyone who is ready to lay off his or her sinful life and accept Him.

“Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints, but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.” – Psalm 85:8-9 KJV

Peace In A Critical Time.

It is good to know that God mostly used suffering to draw people to Himself. Many times people struggle with why God would allow something like evil, sickness, death, poverty and failure to engulf his people.

All throughout the Scriptures, we see that we should not worry but cast all our anxieties on Him. We should find solace in Romans 8:28 KJV that says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.

This awesome promise could be effective if only your life has been surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Perhaps you haven’t done so, a golden opportunity still awaits you.

The world we live in is like a vapour that clears into thin air. To be honest, nothing in this life seems to be forever,  for example, the ongoing pandemic: how it has turned the tides, and the entire world almost seemingly confused and scared of what the situation will bring up.

In any situation, we find ourselves the most important thing to do is to acknowledge the Maker of heaven and earth so that your troubles and sorrow shall be lightened.

Isaiah 26:3 KJV says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you.” Our mind can be in perfect peace because we trust that God will not only use this for our good, but that this very moment in history was part of His plan.

Finding Rest And Comfort Is Only Made Possible Through God.

Having peace doesn’t come by chance, but through knowing the peace giver. Ephesians 2:14 KJV, “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken  down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.” And we can have peace in our minds and in our hearts, knowing that we will have everlasting life because of the cross.

Not only can we have peace with God, but His peace “surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”  – Phillippians 4:7 KJV

Prayer: May the Lord give you strength and bless you with His peace, Amen.
